Description

Tasting Notes:
High intensity, bright and deep cherry red. Ripe, red fruit aromas accompanied by light toasty and tobacco. And giving way to a spicy and mineral background. Intense, full and moreish with a fresh and balanced attack of red and black fruit. The fine and elegant tannins coat the palate, the finish is long and tasty.

About Winery:
The Leda project was established in 1998 and among those who founded it were the two sons of the famous oenologist Mariano García(Former Winemaker of Vega Sicilia): Alberto García and Eduardo García. The winery is located in the town of Tudela de Duero’s old quarter, in a big old 18th Century house that has been completely renovated. The winery’s work philosophy is based on viticulture that respects the environment and on quality above all else. Although not possessing any vineyards of its own, Leda has chosen 40 vine-growing estates for engaging in long-term contracts, with the aim of involving the growers in the procurement of quality grapes. All the vineyard estates are situated on slopes with poor, deep soils.
